I played CS and CS:CZ regularly from 2005-2007, making several maps and running servers on and off with a friend. I never played competitively; for me, the joy of CS was bouncing around to different servers and trying all sorts of different maps. I took a long hiatus from the game and returned in 2017, both to mapmaking and map collecting.
The maps presented here are those that I enjoyed and collected the most – maps based on cs_assault, one of the first maps ever made for CS. I will be progressively getting my archive organized and online. My hope for the site is to provide historical preservation for a small part of the Counter-Strike world, and to show people some maps they haven’t seen anywhere else. Enjoy!
